Staying Positive Can Change Your Life

Like all of us I have had set backs and situations that could have really hindered me and my growth way more than they did.

Ultimately, I think how I’ve dealt with them has defined me and not what has happened. I have set goals and focused on getting my surroundings to support me.

I’ve never really understood why people choose to focus on the negatives. They can all get us down but when we want to feel fulfilled and thrive I find it much more beneficial to focus on the positives.

Why being positive helps us all thrive;

1. Positive Psychology focuses on the positives and budding our internal strength. Its beyond thinking and about action as feel as acknowledging the negative but shifting focus to the positives. When we focus on this we are more likely to shift our energy toward enhancing what works for us in our lives, instead of what’s against us, therefore helping us thrive.

2. Be clear on your goals because what you focus on expands (helping you thrive in the direction you desire). Manifestation allows us to set goals and focus on visualising them allowing us to be more likely to reach them then if you never thought about it at all. This is epic. They say if you can see it, believe it then you can achieve it. You must start somewhere and inside your own mind if a great starting point.

3. Have your non-compromise values and stick to them. When you know what you value and have a deep passion around this, these keep you grounded regardless of circumstances helping you thrive through adversity.

4. Focusing on positivity outside of ourselves can bring others up around us. Seeing the light in people, generally brightens them up even more. If you turn focus to people in your life and what they are doing great or what you are thankful for, it suspends energy in that direction and helps increase positive vibrations. Making you and them feel energised and most likely more productive.

Learning how to deal with difficulties is life. Don’t get me wrong you need to accept, deal with and grow from negatives and hardship (which isn't simple). But that is where we do our biggest learning and growing. Trying to stay true to yourself, positive and clear will help you thrive.

People and life will challenge all of us. How we choose to react, respond and carry ourselves ultimately forges our paths.
