There is something really special about an art gallery that I think everyone should experience.
Spending time enjoying beautiful, interesting and thought provoking art is one of my favourite parts about travelling.
From New York to Paris, here are my top 5 must see galleries that photos and words don't do justice!
Artists: Jeff Koons, Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Jean‐Michel Basquiat, Barbara Kruger, Roy Lichtenstein & many more.
Highlights: In LA, a city that never sleeps, The Broad holds some of the most interesting and trending art in the world. Exhibiting the famous Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirror Rooms is only part of the excitement. You also get to experience some of the most famous sculptures by Jeff Koons and many more modern artists. It's a must see in LA!

Artists: Pablo Picasso, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Jackson Pollock, Roy Lichtenstein & many more.
Highlights: NGV is the most visited gallery in Australia! In my home town Melbourne, this is by far my favourite Australian gallery. If you can visit on a Friday night, there is music, drinks and food - what more can you want? Previous exhibitions by Jean Paul Guiltier, Dior, Andy Warhol and currently the amazing Cai Guo-Qiang & Terracotta Warriors. They also have student exhibitions, see their top artists for 2019 >> check it out.

Artists: Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci & more.
Highlights: The Louvre is MASSIVE. I repeat, make sure you have a few days to really go through and experience this place. I only had one day here and felt I barely saw half the work. The famous Mona Lisa always has a crowd around her and recently in pop news, Jay Z & Beyonce's new album film clip was filmed in The Louvre, talk about goals! As the world's largest art museum and historical monument in Paris, it's magic is unprecedented.

Artists: Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Jackson Pollock & more.
Highlights: I really love modern art so it's easy to see why I loved my time at MoMA in New York specifically. The art collections of the loved Warhol and many more are the largest I've seen. The atmosphere in the museum is somehow calm and you can sit and admire art for hours. MoMA also has a really informative online magazine > MoMA Magazine.
Artists: Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, Antonio Canova, John Singer, Vincent Van Gogh, Duccio & millions more.
Highlights: With over two million works, The Met is a wonderland and the largest museum in the United States. You will recognise the steps from popular movies and t-v shows. You can also enjoy the view of the Manhattan skyline and Central Park from the balcony inside the museum. Definetely one of the best parts of New York!
Some personal snaps from my travels are below.
I hope you enjoy your travels and art experiences!
