4 EASY WAYS TO MASTER POSITIVE THINKING EVERYDAY

We all know that habits are hard to break, so what if you started practising positivity as part of your daily life? I think it’s fair to say it could turn into a great habit that can help you thrive in life.

Its been proven time and time again that psychologically and scientifically being positive helps us deal with life and its obstacles in a more productive way.

Positivity is formally known as; The practice of being or tendency to be positive or optimistic in attitude.

When it starts in your mind and is integrated into your lifestyle positivity can help you deal with setbacks and hardships without even realising it.

Here are a few easy ways to upgrade your daily habits;

1. Vision boards for ‘visualisation & manifestation’ to reach your goals

I know this sound simple but a vision board that has your inspiration and goals on it allows your brain to register a clear vision and work towards that subconsciously. Also when times are tough it reminds you of the bigger picture. if your day is 80% shit – then you can make that 20% of manifesting productive and positive! If you look at your board regularly and practise manifestation (envision in your mind – speak your vision our loud) – you will be putting in the work that will help you achieve your goals without even realising it.

2. Journal - blog - read – write – watch = keep yourself learning

There are so many ways to consume valuable material that can support your learning and growth. Find content that empowers you and puts you in a good mood. Being positive will then become much easier.

My recommendations; Oprah SuperSoul Conversations Podcast with multiple people / celebrities focused on awakening, discovering and connecting us to the deeper meaning of the world around you. Thrive – online blog by Arianna Huffington ‘More than living- Thriving. Ted Talks – Sharing the best ideas and inspiration;

Expressing yourself also helps you to allow space for your positive thoughts and feelings. Out with the bad – in with the good.

3. Find a daily gratitude attitude practice

It could be integrating meditation into your daily life if it works for you. Or reciting 3 things your grateful for every morning or night. My 3/3 rule is something I do which helps me stay positive and aligned with my goals.

4. Spend part of your day on something your passionate about & feel the love

Spend at least an hour doing a hobby or immersed in something you love. For those who enjoy being social, even just seeing friends can be a great way to feel more positive and uplift our spirits as compared to when we are alone.

Also being positive doesn’t mean you live in a fantasy world.

Why this matters; - It’s a life skill that can help you in so many ways! Not be be underestimated in your work life, home life or any area of your life. - Negative emotions really hit us like a sledgehammer.
